Songs for the 2015 Kindergarten Concert

Hello!  As you know, your children have been preparing for their upcoming Kindergarten Concert.  In the letter that was sent home, I stated that I would be posting the words to the music here on my blog.  Now that I have had the chance to see all of my classes, all of the students have been exposed to the music.  You can work with your child and they should be able to sing through the music with you.  Here are the songs and lyrics!

Hello Song
Hello!  Hello! And, how are you today?
Hello!  Hello! I’m glad you came our way!
Hello!  Hello! I hope you’re here to stay!
It’s friends like you that make my day!  HELLO!

America
My country ‘tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the Pilgrims’ pride,
From every mountain side
Let freedom ring!

Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush
Here we go round the mulberry bush
The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush
Here we go round the mulberry bush
So early in the morning!

This is the way we wash our hands…

Mrs. Bussey’s Class:
This is the way we get on the bus…
Ms. Forchione’s Class:
This is the way we brush our teeth
Mrs. Welty’s Class:
This is the way eat breakfast
Mrs. Mengeu’s Class:
This is the way we pack our lunch
Ms. Stair’s Class:
This is the way that we wake up.
Everyone:

This is the way we sing for you…

Bling Blang
You get a hammer and I’ll get a nail
You catch a bird and I’ll catch a snail
You get a board and I’ll get a saw
And we’ll build a house for the baby-oh!

Bling Blang! Hammer with my hammer.
Zingo Zango!  Cuttin’ with my saw!

Thunderstorm Music
Boom Boom Boom Bop
Zing Zang Zip
Clippity Cloppity Drip Drop
Hear the wind WHIP
Rustling Tustling Bustling Trees
Thunderstorm music makes songs in the trees

The Months of the Year
A odie odie odie
A odie odie odie
A odie odie odie O
The months of the year
January, February, March, April
May, June, and Julyyyy
August, September, October, November
December Oh My!
Repeat!

The Little White Duck
There's a little white duck (quack)
Sitting in the water
A little white duck (quack)
Doing what he oughter
He took a bite of a lily pad
Flapped his wings and he said “I'm glad!”
I'm a little white duck
Sitting in the water
Quack! Quack! Quack!

There's a little green frog (ribbit)
Sitting in the water
A little green frog (ribbit)
Doing what he oughter
He jumped right off of the lily pad
That the little duck bit and he said “I'm Glad!”
I'm a little green frog
Sitting in the water
Glump! Glump! Glump!

There's a little black bug (chirp)
Floating in the water
A little black bug (chirp)
Doing what he oughter
He tickled the frog on the lily pad
That the little duck bit and he said “I'm Glad!”
I'm a little black bug
Floating in the water
Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!

Goodbye Song
Goodbye! Goodbye! To you and all our friends.
Goodbye! Goodbye! Our time's come to an end.
Goodbye! Goodbye! For just a while and then.
Another day we'll meet again!  GOODBYE!!!!
