Kindergarten Concert Song Lyrics

Here are some of the songs that the kindergarteners will be singing in the concert.  They already know these songs, but may be a little rusty, due to all of the snow days.  I will add more as the students learn them.  Please take some time to help your children prepare for their concert.  Practice makes perfect!!!

Songs for the Kindergarten Concert

"The Dinosaur Party"

(Verse 1 - Spoken)
I took a trip in my time machine,
And went back to a land unseen.
The di-no-saurs were before my eyes,
And what I saw was a real sur-prise.
(Chorus - Sing)
They did the Bron-to-sau-rus Boogie,
And the Ste-go-sau-rus Stomp,
The Al-lo-sau-rus Wiggle,
And Ty-ran-no-sau-rus Romp.
(Verse 2 – Spoken)
Heads did bob and tails did shake,
It felt just like a big earthquake.
They asked me to join in the fun,
And so we danced till day was done.

(Repeat Chorus)

"Here Comes Mrs. Macaroni"

Here comes Mrs. Macaroni
Riding on her snow white pony
In the land of glory, glory
This is (name of teacher)’s dancing day
(Example: Mrs. Welty)
W, W, W for Welty
W, W, W for Welty
W, W, W for Welty
This is Mrs. Welty’s dancing day

"Elephant Song"

One el-e-phant went out to play
On a spi-der’s web one day
He had such e-nor-mous fun
That he asked a-no-ther el-e-phant to come
(Repeat three times, adding “two”, “three”, and “many” in the place of “one”)

"Cobbler, Cobbler"

Cob-bler, Cob-bler, mend my shoe,
Have it done by half past two;
Half past two is much too late,
Have it done by half past eight.
Cob-bler, Cob-bler, mend my shoe.
Yes, good doctor, that I’ll do.
Stitch it up and stitch it down,
I will charge you one half crown.

"America"

My country ‘tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the Pilgrims’ pride,
From every mountain side
Let freedom ring!

"There's No One Exactly Like Me"

Look all the world over, there's no one like me
No one like me, No one like me
Look all the world over, there's no one like me
There's no one exactly like me!
Look all the world over, there's no one like you
No one like you, No one like you
Look all the world over, there's no one like you
There's no one exactly like you!

"Hello Song"

Hello, Hello, and how are you today

Hello, Hello, I'm glad you came our way

Hello, Hello, I hope you're here to stay

It's friends like you that make our day

HELLO!
