​We are continuing work on argument essays.  Students will finish note-taking this week, select one of the topics and write an argument essay.

Wednesday:  Rough draft and peer discussion 

Thursday:  Final review of essay and typing final copy

Friday:  Poetry Friday - Onomatopoeia

​We are working on guided notes for the argument essay students will be creating.  We are examining two topics in detail and students will select one of the topics to complete their essay.

Tuesday:  Guided notes on Sugary Drink articles, adjective quick check and HW

Wednesday:  Guided notes on Sugary Drink articles; adjective overview and HW

Thursday:  Small group notes on Sugary Drink article;  Spelling Test 6

Friday:  Poetry - Alliteration
