Head Coach - Michael Yoder
His coaching philosophy is focused on achieving continuous improvement in each player through quality instruction on playing the game. As a coach, he judges progress based on the amount of improvement made over the course of a season. He recognizes that each player comes to the sport with a different skill and commitment level, but believes that each players goals needs to be getting better each time she plays. Last year, the Girls had competitive season, winning four matches in the Federal League, finishing 5th. Several players were recognized with all-County and all-Federal League honors including Carlie Lauer, Melanie Smith, and Hannah Bukovey. Coach Yoder hopes to improve on last year's record with four returning players along with several incoming freshmen.
Coach Yoder is in his second year as the head of the Girls Golf program. He is a Spanish and History teacher at Lake Middle School. He played four years of varsity golf at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. He lives with his wife Ruth and sons James (4), and Miles (2) in Hartville, Ohio.
